Pullbacks are the stubbed toe of the stock market.

As I settled back in from vacation, I read an article from LPL Research that I thought was an interesting way to look at the market volatility that occurred a few weeks ago.
The article was called “Pullbacks are Common but Painful.” LPL Research’s team kicks off the article by saying that “pullbacks are the stubbed toe of the stock market.” Just like stubbing your toe on the corner of the couch, even though it is painful at the time, it is “not worthy of full-blown panic.”
It’s a cute analogy, but just like stubbing your toe, everyone handles things differently. I spoke with clients about this market volatility who were scared, while others saw the pullback as a potential buying opportunity.
Regardless, it’s my goal to make sure that the people I work with feel comfortable, and that their investments are well-positioned and aligned with their goals and objectives.
So, when you look at everything that's going on economically, and even politically, and you assess your entire financial picture, how do you feel about how you're positioned for any potential volatility?
That may be tough to answer, but please know that I am here and happy to help.
